Life's Snakes & Ladders
Onside’s elephant ‘Life’s Snakes & Ladders’ located in Angel Place, is part of the main Worcester Big Parade. We hope you can enjoy exploring the parade and visit our elephant which is number 4 on the Trail Map.
The elephant was designed and painted by Sally Adams, inspired by the reality that life is full of ups and downs. Sometimes we are rising-up ladders and other times falling down snakes. These last 18 months have been hard for everyone and might be making you feel that there are more challenges (snakes) than you would like or can cope with.
Onside provides a range of services which help people facing challenges to help you improve your physical and mental health and general wellbeing.
One of the services we provide is a service called PLUS (People Like Us), which supports people facing isolation and loneliness across Worcestershire. Our aim is to provide the right support for you to climb life’s ladders and avoid falling down life’s snakes.
