IHCA (Independent Health Complaints Advocacy)
IHCA (Independent Health Complaints Advocacy) is a service to support people who want to complain about their NHS care or treatment. This is a free and confidential service independent of the NHS designed to support people who wish to complain about their NHS care or treatment. This service is provided in Herefordshire and Worcestershire by Onside.
We will provide you with access to someone who will listen to you, understand your situation and help you to make a complaint about your NHS care and treatment.
They can provide you with information advice and guidance to enable you to make your complaint. If you need additional help, they will support you in writing letters, making phone calls, help you prepare for meetings and attend them with you if necessary.
The complaint must be about NHS care and treatment that have taken place in the last 12 months. Onside can however, also provide you with help you with complaints in relation to social care.
