Children and Young People Hub

ONSIDE Successful in Securing Additional Mental Health Funding

ONSIDE are pleased to announce that they have secured funding from the Department for Health and Social Care. This funding will allow thousands of children and young people to receive earlier and easier access to mental health intervensions at 24 hubs in local communities across the UK.

The funding will be used to deliver a new and innovative Mental Health Hub service for Children and Young People aged 11-25;  a single point of access to a range of support in the community without the need for a referral.

Hubs are adapted to local needs but can deliver a range of joined-up support such as counselling, physical health and advice on housing and employment. Delivery will take place in Worcester, Malvern, Wychavon and Redditch. This funding forms part of a national pilot and ONSIDE will be involved in an in-depth evaluation with researchers to shape the future of Mental Health Hubs.

ONSIDE look forward to working with partners and communities to deliver community based mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people.
